Marcia Fernandez Joins TD Bank as Relationship Manager in Commercial Lending for South Florida

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (February 19, 2015) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Marcia G. Fernandez as Vice President, Business Relationship Manager. Based in Coral Gables, she is responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial and real estate loans and cross selling the full range of TD Bank’s products and services to clients across Miami-Dade and Broward counties in South Florida.

Fernandez has more than 30 years of experience in retail banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, she served for 15 years at Mercantil Commercebank in a variety of roles, including Business Manager in the Lending Unit, and Business Developer. Fernandez is a member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, the Latin American Business Association (LABA) and the Doral Business Council.

A Miami resident, Fernandez volunteers with March of Dimes, United Way and Sunrise Community Service in her community. She received an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2004 and undergraduate degrees in Finance and International Business from in 1997 from Florida International University.
